Understanding Dyslexia: An Overview

Does your child struggle with reading, writing, and spelling? If you have a child or a student who has been diagnosed with dyslexia or a student or child you suspect may have dyslexia, this outreach event is for you.

This presentation is designed to provide an overview of the following topics: characteristics of dyslexia, information on diagnosing dyslexia and information to better understand the most effective remediation interventions and accommodations.

This is an open forum. Ongoing questions are encouraged.

This IDA-GA / DDGA Outreach Event will be held in the Learning Center at Darlington School (http://www.darlingtonschool.org) in Rome, GA. The event is free and open to the public. Please register to reserve your spot. Check-in will begin at 6:45 p.m. Program will start at 7:00 p.m
